Search engines could barely make sense of this Squarespace site. Around 300 images had no alt text, the home page had no main heading, every page title was set as a sub-heading, and duplicate project pages were competing with each other. I added descriptive alt text throughout, rebuilt the heading structure and removed the duplicates, so each project now has one clear, properly labelled page that Google can read.

About
I've spent over 30 years in post-production and broadcast technology, from hands-on edit support to senior technical leadership. Most recently I was Technical Architect at VCCP's Girl & Bear, where I designed key infrastructure for their 2025 facility move and built a global cloud editing platform for their international offices.
Before that I worked in technical support for Formula 1's broadcast operation, reaching 500 million viewers a year, and ran technical operations at post facilities in London, Brighton and Sydney across Avid, Premiere, Pro Tools and Fairlight.
In 2026 I turned that experience to building my own software: three native iOS apps, live on the App Store, written in Swift and built to respect people's privacy. Alongside that, I help small businesses fix websites that are slow, messy or hard to find.
I don't promise overnight #1 Google rankings or sell marketing buzzwords. I use AI tools like Claude and Gemini to work fast as a solo builder, and decades of technical habits to make sure what ships is clean and solid.
